Saybrook private equity funds invest in lower middle market companies with operational or capital structure complexity that causes many investors to push away. We find these types of companies are undervalued by the market resulting in an attractive investment opportunity. Additionally, we believe in investing in people, so our approach focuses on finding the right management team to seek to drive results.
Saybrook Infrastructure focuses on investments in Supply Chain related industries that typically include an element of real estate development and infrastructure to improve the flow of goods. The way companies conduct business is evolving rapidly leading to dramatic changes in how we move goods. With deep roots in supply chain, we believe we have the vision to capitalize on those changes, and deploy capital.
Saybrook Technology seeks out opportunities within the Supply Chain industry for applications of technology that are looking to dramatically improve the way we move goods. Much of the Supply Chain today is opaque and fragmented into silos. We believe the key to changing this dynamic is to focus on the movement of information across the nodes of the good movement with the goal of driving efficiencies.
Through our Saybrook Consulting arm, we provide advisory services to clients across of spectrum of areas. Included is business turnaround and transformation, analysis and examination of capital structure, assistance in raising and structure of funding, strategic planning with a focus on retail and supply chain, analysis of corporate management structure, and systems support including ERP selection and implementation.

SINCE its’ founding in 1990, Saybrook’s True North has been simple – we sell TRUST. Whether we are providing consulting services to companies or investing capital as a fiduciary. Like many firms, we’ve learned that TRUST is a byproduct of expertise, creativity and long-term relationships. We’ve been entrusted with some of the most difficult situations and obtained results we’re proud of, like our role as the lead financial advisor and investment bank to the Official Committee of Creditors in the United Airlines reorganization. Hired by the Court, we were entrusted with the fate of $28.5 billion in capital. Our clients ended up owning a majority of the airline. We’ve had similar roles in Pacific Gas and Electric, Kmart, Foster Wheeler, and dozens more. We’ve invested our own capital alongside more than $2 billion we managed for some of the largest and most sophisticated pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, and individuals. Trust is easy to covet, but hard to capture. Our record is clear and our clients plentiful. We welcome your inquiry and encourage your diligence.
